Shining examples of extensive co-makership

The challenge

Attema Kunststof & Techniek has already completed several projects for this client. The aim of this particular one was to make fittings for outside lighting that meet the following requirements:

 - splashproof (IP44)
 - resistant to the high temperatures of the light bulb
 - easy to fit (a USP for the client
   that sets them apart from the competition!)
 - colourfast

The approach

The engineers at Attema Kunststof & Techniek set to work detailing the designs provided by the client, making technical drawings, preparing moulds and going into production. As on previous occasions, Attema Kunststof & Techniek opted for what might be termed a rather unique combination of injection moulding and extrusion. Being the client's regular supplier, Attema Kunststof & Techniek needed no prompting, so the products were soon taken into production, just as the client could expect.

The result

The fittings now rolling off the conveyor belt are once again the result of real co-makership. Not only do they fully satisfy the client's requirements, they were developed in record time as well.
